About Us
Hearing Care Built by Navy Veterans for San Antonio
Precision Hearing is a veteran-owned audiologist in San Antonio, TX, founded by two Doctors of Audiology who served as US Navy audiologists running the service's two largest hearing conservation programs — Naval Station San Diego and Naval Station Norfolk. They brought that precision, discipline, and conservation-first mindset to civilian practice in 2019, building a clinic for working adults who depend on their hearing every day.
A Long-Term Hearing Partner, Not a Sales Pitch
Our owners hold the highest CAOHC tier — Course Director and Professional Supervisor — and bring a combined 25 years of clinical and military audiology experience to every appointment. Because Precision Hearing is independent and manufacturer-agnostic, every recommendation is built around your hearing profile and lifestyle, not a sales quota. Patients across Bexar County and Greater San Antonio choose us for unhurried, education-led care that respects their time and decisions.

Owner & AudiologistKeisha Salazar
Office ManagerKeisha Salazar is the Office Manager at Precision Hearing and has been with the practice for roughly 25 years, making her the longest-tenured member of the team. Originally from San Antonio and a UTSA alum, Keisha was drawn to hearing care after seeing firsthand how hearing loss can quietly affect relationships and daily life — and how a relatively small clinical intervention can completely change someone's experience of the world.
At the clinic, Keisha coordinates the mobile hearing schedules, handles bookkeeping, maintains client relationships, and prepares audiogram reports for occupational programs. She brings reliability, institutional memory, and a strong work ethic to a small but rapidly growing practice that she describes as feeling like family. Outside the office, she's usually at a concert or traveling somewhere new.
Cierra Rodriguez
Patient Care CoordinatorCierra Rodriguez is the Patient Care Coordinator at Precision Hearing. A lifelong San Antonio resident from the city's southeast side, she has always been drawn to caring for others — and discovered hearing care after realizing how many people need help with hearing loss but don't know where to start.
Day-to-day, Cierra makes sure each patient has a positive, well-organized experience from the moment they walk in. She supports the doctors so clinic flow stays smooth and assists patients with anything they need before, during, and after their appointment. She especially enjoys the relational side of the role — connecting with patients and making sure their time in the office feels easy, not stressful. Outside of work she spends most of her time with family.
Roland Torres
Occupational Hearing ConservationistRoland Torres is an Occupational Hearing Conservationist at Precision Hearing. A San Antonio native and Por Vida Academy graduate, Roland studied logistics and warehouse management at St. Philip's before joining the team. His interest in hearing care started with a fascination for the instruments used in the field and the process of collecting and interpreting hearing data.
In his role, Roland sets up mobile testing laptops, calibrates instruments, collects data, and ensures everything is clean and ready for each onsite visit. He also walks employees through what's happening during their screening so they feel comfortable and informed. He loves that the role takes him to new cities and new companies every week. Outside of work he's into cooking and BBQing, family time, sporting events, and concerts.
Steven Morgan
Occupational Hearing ConservationistSteven Morgan is an Occupational Hearing Conservationist at Precision Hearing. A San Antonio native and McCollum High School graduate, he spent over 10 years in the optical field before transitioning to hearing care — including work on a team that provided free eye exams and glasses to people in low-income communities. That experience cemented his commitment to roles that make a tangible difference in people's lives.
At Precision Hearing, Steven maintains one of the mobile testing vans, travels to client work sites to perform employee hearing screenings, and reviews the results with each person individually. He loves the variety of meeting new people every day and visiting different businesses across the region. Outside of work, he's into traveling, camping, and hiking.
