Common in-house fixes include wax-guard and dome replacement, deep cleaning of microphone and receiver ports, swapping a failed receiver wire on RIC devices, replacing tubing on BTE aids, charging-contact cleaning, Bluetooth re-pairing, and reprogramming after a software update or fresh audiogram.

We also inspect for moisture damage, corroded battery contacts, and feedback caused by a worn earmold. If the issue points to an internal component failure that requires a sealed-unit rebuild, we move it to a manufacturer repair — but most patients walk out the same visit with working devices.

Cost depends on the issue and whether your aids are still under manufacturer warranty. Minor in-house services — cleaning, wax-guard or dome replacement, receiver swaps, reprogramming — are inexpensive, and in many cases bundled into your existing care plan if the aids were purchased from us.

A manufacturer rebuild for out-of-warranty devices is typically a flat-fee repair that includes a fresh warranty on the work.
