Working at Precision Hearing

Considering a role at Precision Hearing in San Antonio, TX? Find answers about open positions, qualifications, our veteran-owned culture, and how to apply.

Precision Hearing welcomes applications from licensed audiologists (Au.D. / M.S.), audiology externs and 4th-year AuD students, occupational hearing conservationists, patient care coordinators, and front-office administrators. Because we operate two complementary business lines from a single office — clinical hearing care and B2B occupational hearing conservation — opportunities exist across patient-facing audiology, mobile / industrial testing, and patient-experience roles.

Even when no specific role is posted, we are happy to keep your application on file. Submit the form on this page and a member of our team will reach out the moment a matching opening becomes available.

Audiologist candidates should hold an Au.D. or M.S. in Audiology with current Texas licensure (ASHA CCC-A and/or ABA certification preferred). 4th-year AuD students and externs are welcomed for clinical placements. Experience with real-ear measurement, tinnitus management, custom hearing protection, or veterans / VA Community Care workflows is highly valued.

Occupational hearing conservationist candidates benefit from CAOHC certification (we are a CAOHC training site, so we can certify the right candidate) and comfort with mobile / industrial testing, audiometer calibration, and on-site customer service. For patient care coordinator and administrative roles, a healthcare front-office background is a plus but not required — we hire for attention to detail, warmth, and the ability to handle veteran, B2B, and patient inquiries professionally.

Precision Hearing is a veteran-owned practice built on Navy-trained discipline. Both Doctors of Audiology are US Navy veterans who ran the service's two largest hearing conservation programs — accountability, precision, and follow-through are part of every appointment, every noise survey, and every conversation in the office. Audiologists, hearing conservationists, and the patient-care team work shoulder to shoulder rather than in silos.

Our retention reflects the culture: our office manager has been with the practice for roughly 25 years, and the wider team treats patient relationships as long-term partnerships rather than transactions. The pace is steady, the work is meaningful, and both of our Google Business Profiles (Precision Hearing Conservation and Precision Hearing Care) hold 5.0-star ratings.

Complete the application form on this page with your name, contact information, area of expertise, and a brief message about your background. You can also upload your resume so our hiring team has a complete picture of your qualifications, certifications, and clinical or industrial experience.

Once we review your application, a member of our team will reach out to schedule a conversation. If you would prefer to introduce yourself first, call (210) 695-4708 for clinical roles, (210) 695-4707 for occupational hearing conservation roles, or email info@precision-hearing.com.

Precision Hearing is one of the few civilian audiology practices in San Antonio where you can build a career alongside two US Navy audiologists who personally ran the Navy's two largest hearing conservation programs (Naval Station San Diego and Naval Station Norfolk) — a credential held by only a handful of clinicians nationwide. We are independent and manufacturer-agnostic, in-network with TriWest, BCBS, and Workers' Comp, and a designated VA Community Care Network provider serving a large veteran population.

Our dual focus — clinical hearing care plus B2B occupational hearing conservation — means clinicians and conservationists work on patients, mobile testing fleets, and CAOHC training all under one roof. You will train alongside Doctors of Audiology with roughly 25 years of combined experience and tens of thousands of patients and service members helped.

Our office is at 170 Babcock Rd, San Antonio, TX 78201 — a single, fully ADA-compliant location that houses both our clinical hearing care services and our occupational hearing conservation operations. Patient care, hearing aid fittings, custom hearing protection, and our mobile testing fleet are all dispatched from this address.

Conservationists travel to employer sites across San Antonio and surrounding areas, including communities near Joint Base San Antonio, BAMC, and the Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center. If you have questions before applying, call (210) 695-4708 for clinical roles or (210) 695-4707 for occupational hearing conservation roles.
